We have recently been accredited as a GOOD hospital following CQC inspection and are looking to employ a dynamic, confident, motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Orthopaedic Therapies team as a Physiotherapy Assistant supporting the Physiotherapy Service for 22.5 hours/week
In this role you work closely with patients, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and other members of the multi-disciplinary team, undertaking an array of responsibilities and tasks to support the smooth running of the Therapies service.

- To be a Physiotherapy assistant working to assist the Physiotherapist in the therapeutic management of patients for the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust Hospital (RBFT)
- Under supervision to facilitate and participate in ongoing patient treatment.
- To work effectively as a team member in carrying out, under direction, exercise and mobility programmes.
- To participate in providing a high quality, effective and efficient physiotherapy service
- Under supervision of a Physiotherapist, provide a range of activities, instructing and guiding patients, individually or in groups, to support them in achieving identified goals and promoting independence.
- To undertake delegated tasks to contribute to the safe and smooth running of the service, including clerical and housekeeping tasks.
