Gesban is a dedicated professional team who provides and develops effective financial processes, accounting and reporting with strong independent control, to Santander.

The difference you’ll make.

• Managing a team of Finance Associates including responsibility for performance management and appraisal

• Ensuring accounting ledgers are maintained appropriately in a timely manner to facilitate the reporting requirements of the

• Ensuring that monthly and quarterly reporting is accurate and is delivered on time across the team

• Responding to queries from key stakeholder such as the client, internal/external audit and Group Reporting

• Performing required reconciliations on trial balance accounts for all entities under your responsibility to the stipulated deadlines and the resolution of arising differences

What you’ll bring.

• Part-qualified AAT/ACA/ACCA/equivalent or qualified by experience in accountancy role

• Good experience of leading a small team

It would also be nice for you to have.

• Understanding account payables and receivables

• Excel skills – intermediate

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work to tight deadlines and to work well under pressure

What else you need to know.

This is a permanent position offering a hybrid working model, where you will be expected to work from the Milton Keynes office 2 days/week.
