Weekend Animal Rescue Officer

The Scottish SPCA, Scotland’s animal welfare charity, is seeking to recruit a Weekend Animal Rescue Officer based in Tayside region and covering the surrounding areas.

The successful applicant will have practical experience of working with animals, a keen interest in animal welfare and excellent customer care skills. In addition, a good geographical knowledge of the area or the ability to attain this quickly is essential. Candidates must also have a full UK manual driving licence.

The position will be working alternate weekends, 15 hours per fortnight within a group rota between the hours of 7.30am and 11pm. There will be a requirement to cover for the other Weekend Animal Rescue Officer and to occasionally work additional hours to cover for sickness and holidays.
