Welder/Fabricator

She Built IT NI are currently recruiting for Welders/Fabricators to join our client who is a proven leader in Manufacturing based in Carryduff/Belfast Areas. The Requirements

• Ensure all materials are accounted for tack and weld materials together as per engineering drawing to the highest standard and quality.
• Operate and maintain welding and fabrication equipment, such as MIG, TIG, and arc welders.
• Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings, particularly welding symbols
• Inspect and test completed products to ensure they meet high standards of quality and precision.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose welding and fabrication problems as they arise.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
• Ability to work within a team environment and able to use own initiative
• Complying with current and future Health & Safety laws, processes and procedures

The Person

• Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
• Be able to read and interpret complicated drawings, specifications, charts and tables.
• Must have 1-3 years’ work experience, preferably welding in a heavy equipment environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills, judgment and decision making skills
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly
• Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects at one time
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal guidance
• Ability to meet given targets
• Knowledge of H & S procedures & responsibilities
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing preferred
