Senior Physiotherapist

Henderson Rehabilitation Unit based in the Grace Care Centre, Thornbury are looking to recruit a Senior Physiotherapist, passionate about delivering high quality and safe care to their patients.

Henderson Rehab Unit is a 20 bedded Rehabilitation Unit where patients are admitted from the local acute hospitals and directly from the community. We provide intensive rehabilitation for predominately older people following episodes of acute illness and injury, with the aim to ensure timely discharge. We also have four specialist stroke beds.

We actively promote a multi-disciplinary model, where therapy staff work closely with nurses, ensuring patients are kept at the centre of the decision making.

We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist of acute, community and stroke with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and respect for patients, carers, and colleagues to work with us to create an environment conducive to care.

The post is 37.5 hours per week and Monday Friday at present, with some bank holiday cover.
