Print Dispatch Operative

SmithBrewer Ltd is a retail interior design and manufacturing company providing shop fixtures and displays to some of the UK’s largest retailers. The company is going through a period of exciting growth and is expanding its operations in all areas. We are looking to recruit a Print Dispatch Operative to join our busy internal Print Department.

This role entails working within our Finishing Department whereby you will hand finish and pack printed products, label them and ensure that a quality end product is prepared ready for dispatch, within agreed timeframes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Various handwork operations such as gluing, mag tape application, vinyl weeding, stitching

· Packing various graphic types for onward distribution

· Working from Production Sheets

· Working within a team to achieve daily goals

· Helping with material orders

· Help to ensure general cleanliness of workspace

· Quality checking of finished work against agreed standards

Candidate requirements:

• Experience of graphic print finishing would be beneficial but full training can be given to the right candidate
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail.

· Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team

· Ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a busy role.

Schedule:

• 7.5 hour day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Highbridge: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
