This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in tackling health inequalities across the North East and North Cumbria. You will be joining a new team hosted by South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust (STSFT) but working across the whole region.
The North East and North Cumbria has committed to placing health literacy at the heart of its work to tackle health inequalities. You will be responsible for supporting this large, diverse and innovative programme of work. Working with a wide range of stakeholders including NHS staff, local authorities, the voluntary sector, researchers and local communities you will be responsible for supporting an ambitious work plan across a large area.
This role would suit someone who is passionate about fairness and tackling health inequalities. You should be highly motivated and enjoy working in a changing environment with multiple partners. You will be supported by a team at STSFT and a large network across the region. This is a new role offering the chance to make a positive difference for communities in the North East and North Cumbria.
