Grade/Salary: Grade 3 (£22,369 - £24,054) per annum pro rata

Hours/Type: 18.5 hours per week Permanent

Location: Doncaster

St Leger Homes are recruiting a part-time gardener on a permanent contract to work within the existing Garden Service Team under South West Management area. The role is an ideal opportunity for a candidate who has horticultural experience or who wishes to develop horticultural knowledge and experience, working within the garden service.

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Carry out horticultural, garden maintenance and shrub-beds works. The role involves manual handling such as lifting, bending, digging, use of machinery and equipment such as pedestrian mower, strimmer, hedge cutter, leaf blower and other equipment as required. You will be required to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Follow Safe System of Working and ensure that equipment is operated in line with safety guidance.
• Hold full UK Driving Licence and able to drive company’s vehicle.
• The post holder will also need to pass medical assessment.
