Role Overview & Responsibilities
Staff365 are proud to be partnering with a market leading manufacturing business seeking a forward thinking and methodically minded Trainee Electrical Engineer on a Permanent basis.
The Trainee Electrical Engineer will be working as part of the existing maintenance department and will be responsible for providing maintenance to machinery ensuring that levels of production are not affected. The work will be a mixture of planned and reactive maintenance. Successful candidates will have either 17th Edition or higher, and be educated in some form of electrical engineering as a foundation for future development within this role. Recent college or university leavers are also of interest to our client
Role: – Trainee Electrical Engineer
Shifts: – Monday to Friday – Rotating Shift Patterns (6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm & 10pm – 6am)
Salary – . £17.70 plus overtime
Location: – Rotherham S63
Duties will include: -
Conducting electrical repairs to breakdown of machinery and equipment.
Maintain job completion records through their cloud-based system, with an understanding of using tablets.
Working with a bespoke computer based maintenance program, carrying out maintenance / work requests in a timely manner and to our partners’ high standards.
Set up machinery when product changes are required ensuring that downtime is reduced and efficiencies are increased.
Skills required: -
Able to work on own initiative and with a small team depending on business needs.
Work under pressure and coordinate with management to ensure workflow demands are met.
Forward and methodical thinker.
Basic understanding of safety for themselves and others around them.
