Contour Design & Production Intern (DiPS - Placement Year Students)

We offer internships to current, under-grad degree students on a DiPS placement year (min 3-4 months) on a part-time or full-time basis (minimum of 4 days per week). Please note this opening is only open to current 2nd year students, looking for 3rd year placement opportunities within the next academic year (starting September 2023).

As part of a small team, our interns will get a great insight into running a small, fast-growing luxury lingerie fashion brand, assisting the design and production team in some of the following areas:

● Garment cutting and sewing

● Pattern cutting and grading

● Sample making

● Garment fitting

● Quality control

● Compiling/updating tech packs

● Fabric yields and garment costing

● Sourcing

● Trend, consumer and competitor research

● Assisting with events, shoots and meetings

● General studio upkeep and admin

We are looking for students with the following qualities:

● Fashion or contour design course

● Passion for creative lingerie

● Willing and keen to learn

● Genuine interest in the technical side of product development

● Good initiative

● Organised and meticulous work approach

● Advocate for sustainability

Travel expenses within London and lunch covered.

Job Types: Part-time, Internship
Contract length: 3-4 months
Part-time hours: 21-28 per week

• Monday to Friday

• Islington, Greater London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
