Cafe Assistant

Here at the SD Cafe we are a family run cafe located on the seafront in Nairn. We are looking for a strong team player that must have great communication skills, you must be committed and willing to learn and develop new career prospects in a growing dog friendly cafe business.

Responsibilities will involve

• At the heart of the restaurant, take personal care of each & every guest
• Following opening & closing and cleaning procedures
• Taking orders, putting them through the till system or iPad
• Making recommendations, recommending specials & answering questions
• Serving food & beverages
• Coffee Barista duties (training will be given)
• Taking payment

• Clearing & sanitising tables, keep the restaurant area clean & well presented
• Excellent memory & knowledge
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Handle any guest complaints or concerns professionally & calmly

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £10.50 per hour
