Role responsibilities
- Work closely with our design & manufacturing teams to produce a smooth and professional operation
- Work with architects, developers and clients to provide project specific solutions
- Create sets of working drawings for manufacturing & installation purposes
- Drafting of technical drawings & project details
- Discussing manufacturing requirements with the Production Manager
- Taking verbal direction and implementing in to working drawings
- Coordinating the filing, storage, and distribution of drawings
- Due to the unique nature of the company and its products, various other responsibilities will be explained during the interviewing stage
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Competent in using 2D drafting software. Knowledge and competence in using SketchUp Pro
- Competent in using Microsoft Office. (Word, Excel, One Note etc)
- Able to work well with others
- Design skills & knowledge
- Thoroughness and attention to detail
- Ability to work unsupervised and with initiative
- Ability to solve problems, and put ideas forward to both the design and manufacturing teams
- Able to define problems and find solutions
- Due to the bespoke and niche nature of the company, training will be provided
Salary
- Salary will be between £19,760 & £23,000 commensurate with experience. Progression within the company is encouraged, with salary to match performance.
