Budget & Control Accountant
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Main accountabilities:
- Guarantees hourly rates calculation and update, including absorption of cost factors
- Estimates under and over absorption and allocates the variances
- Is involved in time recording and analysis
- Ensure follow up through regular meetings and forecast of the indirect costs and identifies cost savings opportunities
- Presentation of Budget/Forecast allocable and shared services data to senior managers
- Manage project codes (create, close, delete etc) in group reporting tool
- Preparation of accounts and forecasts for indirect projects
- Preparation of cashflow information
Typical background and experience required:
Must have:
Degree in Finance or Equivalent
Finance and Controlling experience
Information Systems background
Nice to have:
- Experience in the oil and gas industry
