Host and Reservations Manager

Pedler in Canary Wharf is looking for a reservations manager to work for an exciting restaurant and bar group. They are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, is well presented and confident. Full training will be given however some Collins experience would be an advantage and experience in a similar role or someone who has worked in hospitality roles. The role is proactive as well as reactive and a commission / bonus structure will be put in place that could add extra £1000s to your salary each month.

Job Role and Responsibilities

• Manage Collins bookings system for all four sites to ensure reservations are constantly optimised.
• Weekly sales reporting to the General Manager
• Lead weekly sales meetings with GM
• Using DesignMyNight’s Collins software to report on upcoming revenue and develop strategies for streamlining reservations
• Management of Christmas functions as well as liaising with companies and organisations
• Drive off-peak sales
• Management of all sales-related projects, including menu implementation, booking software optimisation and customer comms
• Large Events sales, coordination to delivery
• Client Invoicing and payment reconciliation
• Function sheets weekly presentation
• Host during lunch and evening service throughout the week
• Conduct show arounds, site visits and liaise with potential clientele
• Building the relationship with our regulars, top bookers, and local businesses
• Maximise the restaurant’s competitive advantage by leading the venues in networking, exhibitions, web listings, benchmarking and continually improving our offer to generate new business and raise our commercial profile.
