Self Employed Dog Groomer

We are looking for a confident, motivated and experienced dog groomer to join our well established Manchester City Centre Grooming Salon. They must have the ability to groom to a high standard and have in depth-knowledge of dog breeds and the appropriate grooming requirements.

This position will be ideal for someone who would like to own their own business and manage their own diary on a self employed basis (60/40% split).

Training and qualifications - Must have at least 2 years Dog Grooming experience or have a recognised UK qualification (City & Guilds, OCN or ICMG).

This is a full time position working minimum 37 hours per week. Exact working hours and days can be negotiated to suit both. Part time position also available.

The role will include you working in all aspects of the salon. This will include completing grooms from start to finish (approx 4-5 grooms per day min), be confident handling ALL breeds, keeping the salon clean and tidy, and as this is a customer facing role we require you to be comfortable speaking to customers and taking bookings via our social platforms and through an online cloud system.
