The Boathouse Restaurant is uniquely positioned in a superb location overlooking Christchurch Quay. Situated in an idyllic setting on the banks of the River Stour, The Boathouse is just two minutes’ walk from Christchurch Priory and Christchurch town center.
During the summer months we are exceptionally busy, having built up a fantastic reputation for great service and amazing food.

We are currently looking for Experienced Waiting Staff to join our fantastic team.
Currently looking for mainly weekend work; Friday nights, Saturday and Sundays - this could also include cover during the week depending on your flexibility.

Main Responsibilities:

Serving our guests with the highest level of customer service.
Being responsible for the running of your own section; taking orders, building rapport, dealing with queries.
Using our POS system to enter food and beverage orders.
Keeping your station topped up at all times with; napkins, cutlery, side plates.
Assisting your colleagues in running food and beverages.
Keeping the restaurant clean and adhering to hygiene regulations.
Understanding of allergies and intolerances.
Understanding of our menu and having the ability to upsell.

Candidate Requirements:

Experience in Waiting or similar role in a customer facing environment.
Great personality, bubbly, friendly and confident.
Strong initiative to understand your customers needs and wants.
Keeping a cool head in a busy, fast paced environment.
Excellent team player.
Good verbal and written English.
