Restaurant Front of House Staff (Full-time 40hrs) £10.50ph + service charge

We are currently recruiting for a full-time experienced Restaurant team member to join our friendly front of house team here at The Chequers Matching Green, Essex.

This is a permanent job opportunity in our family run restaurant. The restaurant is well established and has been welcoming customers for past 20 years.

Duties will include: preparing the restaurant for service, light cleaning duties, serving customers, taking food and drink orders, serving food and drinks, using our point of sale system, preparing coffees and teas and other restaurant related jobs.

The right applicant must represent excellent customer service skills, enthusiasm, attention to detail and previous experience within the hospitality industry.

Please note we are located outside of Bishop's Stortford/Epping/Harlow with no public transport available therefore you will have to have your own transport (free parking is provided). Free on-site parking is available.

This role includes weekend work (Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday). Please, only apply if you are available to work weekends.

Previous experience is essential. The restaurant can get very busy at the weekends therefore experience in working under pressure is an advantage.

Rates of pay: £10 per hour (40 hrs per week) + generous service charge + overtime pay.
