Role Overview & Responsibilities
As a junior Publicist, you’ll be supporting and working alongside our team of publicists working across the UK’s biggest entertainment brands, events, red carpets and the most exciting digital talent.
This is the perfect role and opportunity for someone working with publicity that wants to progress their career in Entertainment PR. What we love is passion, drive, personality and someone that’s going to bring something new to the team.
This role requires a passion for entertainment (films, TV, events & more), commitment,
attention to detail, initiative, huge amounts of enthusiasm and the ability to multi-task quickly.
You'll be…
- Supporting the Publicists with planning, reviews, creative brainstorming, workshops and more.
- Be able to source and organise information (such as journalist, talent and TV show producer contact details, build and manage media lists, through to clients coverage and status updates) logically, accurately and quickly.
- Present documents creatively and professionally within our style, whether it’s a
presentation, coverage book, or event invitation. - Manage the media library, from the latest magazines, and supplements to knowing about the latest podcasts, managing databases to create full and personalised media plans.
- Provide support to the publicists on all events, screenings, and parties.
- Led the daily news trends review meetings.
- Lead, manage, and update office master media and influencer lists.
- Build and manage the media library.
- Managing client coverage and reporting on all of our great work.
- Produce and manage the team creative, slate, and events calendar.
- Overseeing the Publicity Assistants and day-to-day office running.
You'll have…
- Previous experience as a Publicity Assistant or similar role.
- Be a social butterfly who knows about all of the events, from the latest film & TV
releases, viral brand campaigns, red carpets and events (online and offline). - Have brilliant written and verbal communication with strong PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills.
- Know your press & digital - from TikTok, podcasts and onlines through to more traditional print magazines, newspapers, TV, radio and more.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Logistics: Soho based office. Happy to travel around London for client meetings is essential.
