Role Overview & Responsibilities

Full Time and Part Time positions available

The Dore is the latest addition to the hospitality scene in Sheffield. We offer all day casual dining with a great drinks list and an Italian inspired food menu. The venue is split over multiple trading areas – cocktail bar, bar dining, restaurant dining and an onsite bakery and coffee shop. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a new team committed to making this new site a true success.

As a Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for:

• Loading and unloading the dish washer
• Accepting deliveries and stock organisation and rotation
• Maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen environment
• Perform deep cleaning of kitchen equipment and general cleaning
• Notify Management of any damages or defects to he facilities
• Maintaining stock level of consumable cleaning supplies
• Adhere strictly to health & safety procedures

Ideal candidates will:

• Have a passion for good food and drink.
• Be smartly presented and confident.
• Perform well under pressure and thrive in a busy environment.
• Work well in a team, be able to prioritise and use their own initiative.
• Offer flexibility with shifts including bank holidays, evenings and weekends.
• Have experience of commercial kitchens
