Role Overview & Responsibilities
Team Steam are on the look out for people as passionate about beer as we are! Head of Steam is the ultimate craft beer bar in the middle of busy Temple Street. We specialise in over 200 beers, beer tasting experiences, over 40 gins and a great cocktail menu. Our food menu is full of American classics and plenty of choices for vegans too, yes, we do vegan and we’re proud of it!
We have qualified beer sommeliers and extremely passionate staff always rocking to our upbeat playlist of hits from 60s to the present day (with a focus on rock and indie). So if this sounds like your kind of thing, hit the apply button!
Duties Include;
- Waiting Staff duties
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Using a till to take orders and process payments
- Engaging with customers and advising them about our weird and wonderful beers and delicious food
- Maintaining a clean and organised bar area, including quickly responding to spills and other health and safety hazards
- Serving food and snacks
- Clearing tables and wiping surfaces
Experience would be preferred but not necessary as full training will be provided.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12-16 per week
Salary: £5.28-£10.50 per hour
