Social Media & Communications Executive

The IPC is looking to appoint a new Social Media & Communications Executive to join our busy team in Macclesfield.

This is an exciting opportunity that would be ideal for a graduate with strong writing and communication skills.

The position is based at our office in Macclesfield. This is a unique role where the successful applicant will play a key role in increasing the IPC presence in the sector and beyond.

As a Social Media & Communications Executive you will be reporting to the Operations Manager, responsible for supporting the team raise awareness and profile of the organisation, communicating the vision and developments effectively to a wide audience. Duties will include but are not limited to;

• Monitoring and providing internal reports on parking-related social media commentaries.
• Creating and managing content and developing the reach for the IPC’s social media platforms.
• Developing and delivering periodic social media campaigns to support the work of the IPC.
• Contributing content and working with the IPC’s Design Executive to coordinate production of Annual Reports, Industry Updates and promotional materials.
• Drafting and distributing correspondence for IPC members and other stakeholders, using Mailchimp.
• Drafting content, production and meeting rigid deadlines for the IPC monthly newsletter.
• Drafting and delivering communication bulletins for IPC members (from IPC initiatives to DVLA updates and new legislation).
• Miscellaneous internal and external communication activities to support the work of the IPC’s Chief Executive, Senior Operations Manager, Membership and Operations Manager and Interest Group Manager.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
