The Old Crown, Digbeth, the oldest pub in Birmingham

We are looking for weekend bar staff to join our team. Hours will be part time 18-25 per week

At The Old Crown we operate an app based Rota system that allows you to tell us when you are and are not available, making sure that work also works for you.

Summary of Role

To ensure that the bar is kept supervised at all times and that customer service is kept at the highest standard. To always understand the business and manage the procedures & policies. To be an attentive waiter/waitress ensuring the guests are served to the best of your ability.

Customer Service

• To lead by example with exceptional customer service
• To understand the customers needs
• Understand and be knowledgeable of all the products we sell.
• Show detailed knowledge on our menu's. Understand how to up sell products to the customer

Duties

• Ensure the all bar systems and procedures are carried out and recorded
• Waiting Tables
• To be a good team player who supports other members of the team and carries out instruction efficiently
• Effectively report information to your line manager
• Ensure the quality & presentation of the food is sent in accordance with all of the recipe cards

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: From £10.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Birmingham, B12 0LD: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Bartenders: 2 years (preferred)
• Hospitality: 2 years (preferred)
