Cleaner (part-time)

We are looking for a Part-Time Cleaner to become a valued part of our nursery team at The Old Forge Day Nursery in Findern, Derbyshire.

Set in an idyllic location in the pretty village of Findern, on The Green, The Old Forge Day Nursery is a beautiful 19thCentury beamed building, with an extensive Forest School and large garden.

The nursery is always busy with 100 children in attendance daily from 0-4 years. There is lots of exciting activities taking place daily and so we’re looking for an enthusiastic, active, fun-loving person with high cleaning standards and an attention to detail, to maintain our high standards of cleanliness.

The cleaner position is an extremely valued role within the nursery, and you will be required to be very organised and to be able to communicate with staff and management and children.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning duties
• Laundry duties
• Helping to maintain the upkeep of the nursery
• Maintain cleaning equipment and stocks throughout the nursery
• Report any repairs and maintenance issues
• Ensure the nursery environment is always clean and tidy
• Monday to Friday, 51 weeks a year

This role is dependent on an enhanced DBS disclosure.
