Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is a well-established charity, based in a new purpose built home located within Bellahouston Park. The Hospice provides specialist palliative care for people with life-limiting and progressive illnesses, providing care and support for their families and carers.
Working as part of our portering team you will assist in all aspects of patient transport & transfers, customer service, light maintenance duties and building security related to the provision of a high-quality portering service to patients, staff, volunteers and visitors.
You will be a confident driver with a full driving licence. An effective communicator you will have previous experience in a customer service environment and work well as part small but busy portering team. Ideally you will have experience of portering within a healthcare setting. This role require the ability to work on your own initiative, as well as being capable of working as part of a team.
