Event Coordinator
Role Overview & Responsibilities
37.5 hours a week including some evenings and weekends.
Customer Services & Support
Deliver excellent customer service at all times, ensuring customers comfort and safety. In doing so, setting a continual example to the team of the expected standards to which we work. Flexible to tailor service depending on the requirements of the event whether a high-profile silver-service dinner or large student party.
Planning & Organising
Ensure all events are staffed correctly, set up and set down factored in and each area is stocked with correct amount of the agreed product range.
Liaison
Communication with the catering manager, chefs and booking teams as well as guests acting as the face of the department and aiding great working relationships.
Continuous Improvement
Implement better and more-efficient ways of working to aid our collective commercial and sustainability goals.
People Management
Manage staff on duty, training, coaching and correcting practices where necessary in line with department standards.
Support other areas of the department when required.
