Tivoli is a brand-new cinema company with a vision to redefine the cinema experience. A café and bar boasting modern custom interiors, an impressive food and drink menu, and state-of-the-art cinema technology, merging the best of art-house & mainstream cinema with casual dining to create a complete cinema experience. We are now searching for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team in Bath to help support the existing team at this amazing venue.
Responsibilities:
- As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll support our chef team to ensure that every dish leaving the kitchen is perfect.
- This means helping to keep the kitchen a clean & safe environment, whether it’s mopping the floors, cleaning pots & pans, or making sure there are enough plates for a busy service.
- You’ll be working in a busy environment with sharp knives and potentially harmful chemicals, so this role needs someone sensible who will own their section and look after it well.
Requirements:
- Some previous experience of working in a kitchen.
- Understands that they are crucial in ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen and service.
- Makes sure the back-of-house areas are always kept a high standard of cleanliness.
- Be responsible for making sure the chefs have all they need to make our dishes.
- Upholds high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, COSHH & HACCP.
- Hardworking by being an active hands-on person.
- Sensible and proud of your work.
- Enjoy working as a part of a large staff team.
- Driven to help the team achieve their targets and be inspired to continue to develop their culinary skills.
We are looking for employees who can work flexible hours during the weekdays (including the evenings) and weekends.
