Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are an online store, specialising in Terrariums and Plants. We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media and Advertising Manager. You will work closely with the owners of the company to develop and implement a comprehensive social media and advertising strategy to increase brand awareness and drive sales of our unique terrariums and plants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn). This involves taking photographs and making videos/reels.
- Schedule content across all platforms and build out a content calendar
- Manage and grow the company's social media presence and follower base
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics and adjust strategy as needed
- Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook Ads) targeting the niche market of terrariums and plants and measure their effectiveness
- Stay up-to-date on the latest social media and advertising trends and best practices related to the plant and terrarium industry
- If needed assist with creating email marketing campaigns
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in social media and advertising
- Proven track record of increasing social media engagement and driving sales through advertising
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, advertising platforms and analytics tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Passion for staying up-to-date on the latest social media and advertising trends, especially in the plant and terrarium industry

Availability: Freelance, Flexible hours
This role requires 1 day of work per week, with flexibility in terms of the specific day and hours.
You can work remotely, but it is important to be able to come to the studio to take photographs and videos for content creation.
Salary: £100 - £150 per day, depending on experience
