Project Manager - IT
Location: Mixed – Oxford, Nuneaton, Client Site & Remote
£45,000-£50,000 per annum 33 days, car allowance, pension, healthcare, life assurance, employee assistance programme, wellbeing support, and flexible benefits scheme
About the role
This role involves working on IT Projects across the full technology stack. The IT PM will be responsible for delivering and executing multiple technical projects within defined requirements with the UL Business Unit, IT Infra Teams and Technical SMEs, Customers and 3rd Party Suppliers and will report directly to the Head of IT Project Management.
As part of your key responsibilities you will:
- Design, initiation and management of small-medium scale infra projects to achieve defined business outcomes.
- Planning across all Stages of the Project Lifecycle and obtaining appropriate levels of sign-off.
- Ensuring Projects are delivered to agreed time, cost, and quality objectives. Execution of Project plans, resource management, monitoring progress and taking all necessary actions and escalations where appropriate.
- Management of Projects through the required Stage Gates and adherence to Frameworks and Governance.
- Managing forecasting, measurements and delivery of budgets relating to all managed work streams.
- Control of Scope; raising and gaining approval of scope changes.
- Reporting progress at agreed intervals to the required governance framework. Coordinate with clients, internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
- Manage all internal/external Stakeholders to ensure Customer success.
