Role Overview & Responsibilities
This is an exciting role within the statistics team within the RD&I department at UHB. You will be working with healthcare data to support statistical analyses. These analyses will be the basis for research and audit projects led by NIHR Applied Research Collaboration West Midlands, through the Margaret Peters Centre (MPC). The MPC specialise in interrogating routinely collected hospital data. The MPC is a collaboration of academics, clinicians, managers and analysts, and works closely with patients and the public to agree on the priority of the projects to be taken forward.
You will be based within the statistics team in RD&I and will have a mixture of supervised and independent working. You will be given the opportunity to be an author on peer-reviewed publications. The statistics team is a small, friendly, dynamic team with a range of statistical and analytical skills.
