Car Park & Security Officer

A vacancy has arisen for a Security/Car Park Officer working within a dedicated team to provide a 24-hour Security & Car Park service to University Hospitals Dorset Trust.

This role focuses on all areas of the Hospital Sites, including the various car parks and outlying buildings.

Duties include:

• Hospital Security and Car Park enforcements patrols
• The monitoring of the Hospital CCTV system
• Responding to security alert calls
• Manning of the Car Park Office, which includes cash handling
• Administration duties

This vacancy is for a permanent full time relief worker. Shift times will at times vary to include Days, Lates & Nights and will include weekend and Bank Holiday working. Flexibility is required to cover colleague shifts due to leave and sickness.

You will have excellent communication and customer care skills, as a large part of the role will bring you into daily contact with patients, visitors and staff from a wide range of differing backgrounds. A willingness to undertake training as legislation or the role requires is also essential. Previous experience of a similar role would be an advantage.
