Role Overview & Responsibilities
A vacancy has arisen for a Security/Car Park Officer working within a dedicated team to provide a 24-hour Security & Car Park service to University Hospitals Dorset Trust.
This role focuses on all areas of the Hospital Sites, including the various car parks and outlying buildings.
Duties include:
You will have excellent communication and customer care skills, as a large part of the role will bring you into daily contact with patients, visitors and staff from a wide range of differing backgrounds. A willingness to undertake training as legislation or the role requires is also essential. Previous experience of a similar role would be an advantage.

- Hospital Security and Car Park enforcements patrols
- The monitoring of the Hospital CCTV system
- Responding to security alert calls
- Manning of the Car Park Office, which includes cash handling
- Administration duties
