Role Overview & Responsibilities
We welcome applications from those who currently hold a UK NMC registration. If you currently hold an overseas nursing qualification and require sponsorship we are not currently direct hiring Internationally Qualified Nurses.
PIU is currently located on Clayton, the Neuromedical Ward at the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath.
However the unit will be moving to the new 3 T's building in June 2023....
The Trust is undergoing a physical transformation with a brand new hospital that has been built on Royal Sussex County Hospital site, opening in 2023. The Neurology service will be moving into Level 10 of the new Louisa Martindale Building. Our team are looking forward to this opportunity of transferring and expanding our services into a modern environment with the latest technology and facilities.

This post gives the unique opportunity to a newly qualified nurse or existing experienced nurse to gain specialist knowledge in care of a neurological patient and to consolidate and extend existing clinical skills.
