Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious, proactive and driven Learning Programmer to develop and deliver an intensive and inclusive secondary school project at The Ashmolean Museum with Greyfriars Catholic School in Oxford https://www.greyfriarsoxford.org.uk
The Ashmolean is Oxford University’s Museum of Art and Archaeology. You will work in the busy and creative Formal Learning Team which develops and delivers schools and academic engagement programmes.
You will identify innovative opportunities to work in partnership with staff and students at the school across all key stages, to embed Ashmolean collections and object-based learning into the curriculum, lesson delivery, INSET and the life of the school. You will be responsible for developing and delivering innovative and creative engagement programmes at the Ashmolean and in school. The programme will run for one year with the possibility of an extension to two years.
This is a part time, fixed term post, working 22.5 hours per week.
The expected start date for this post is September 2023.

- An automatic annual increment each year will be paid up to (and not including) the discretionary range within the University of Oxford’s grade 6 salary scale.
