Over the past 5 years, the University has significantly transformed its digital landscape as part of a Futures and Technology Rationalisation programme. To continue this digital journey, the University is embarking on a 5 year Digital Transformation programme by identifying and prioritising opportunities for significant improvements in the ways we operate and integrate digital systems across the business, as well as how we collect, store and manage our data in the most effective ways.
We are looking for a motivated, passionate, and data enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Business Analyst. The main purpose of the role will be to carry out complex business analysis, working closely with stakeholders across our Medical School in a data management project. This will require in depth analysis of the school's processes, owners, data, applications and technologies.
Working as part of the Projects and Change team, the successful candidate will have experience in business analysis, problem solving and team-working. Effective communication, interpersonal and customer service skills, as well as excellent organisational and prioritisation skills are essential to this role.
The role will have a predominant focus on how the data within on our Medical School is collected, stored and managed for efficient reporting and analysis, investigating what short- and long-term improvements could be made based on GMC explicit demands and informed by institutional current practices; to include specific systems and associated processes.
