Job Purpose:
The post holder will drive the provision of support for all students with disabilities at Ulster University to facilitate access to a high-quality educational experience for disabled students. The post holder will be required to support a caseload of students with a range of disabilities including a long-standing illness or health condition, specific learning difficulty, and mental health difficulties in accordance with levels of need in the service. The post-holder will play a key role in contributing to a professional, specialist advice and guidance and support service, working strategically and operationally with colleagues to ensure inclusivity and ongoing pastoral care for disabled students and compliance with relevant SENDO legislation.
We intend to create a 12 month waiting list for same or similar roles within the University.
