Role Overview & Responsibilities
ValePlus provides an active programme of Day Service Provision for adults with additional learning needs living in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. The charity operates from five sites in Barry and Llantwit Major, which include four general training venues and a café. Each venue places a high priority on learning for our service users.
We are an innovative, highly respected charity and are recruiting a Teacher to work with Additional Learning Needs Adults who attend ValePlus. The role will be 4 days per week. Hours will be 9am to 4pm. The role will be based at The Chapel and will provide support across all training venues.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of Level 3 PTTLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector), experience of working with Adults with Additional Learning Needs, good communication and IT skills, awareness of safeguarding and a commitment to Equality and Diversity.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 28 per week
Salary: From £15.50 per hour
