Are you an SIA-licensed Event Security Officer with a smile that’s keen for a new and exciting challenge?
We are delighted to announce that we are now recruiting SIA licensed staff to be a part of the security team at Salisbury Racecourse, Wiltshire. Join Venture Security’s respected event security team to play a key role at this exciting racing venue.
What the role of Event Security Officer involves….
- Meeting and greeting customers and dealing with their queries
- Helping event attendees through entry points including search and way marking
- Patrolling areas and monitoring crowds
- Dealing with and resolving issues
- Communicating across teams
- And so much more….
What we’re looking for in an Event Security Officer ….
- Holder of a SIA Licence in Door Supervision or Close Protection. Some positions may allow Security Guard licenses to be utilised.
- A smile and outgoing image that will give customers confidence in your ability
- Team spirit and diligence to support your team members in their duties
- Good verbal and written communication abilities and a strong command of the English language
- Transparent and can-do attitude to challenges
- Flexible availability for shifts throughout the summer
- Driving licence and your own transport to get to site an advantage
