Job Description
We are looking for a
Surgery Cleaner
Companion Care Vets is a busy veterinary practice located inside Pets at Home in Weston-super-Mare. We work hard to provide an excellent level of care to our clients’ pets 7-days a week, and we need your help maintaining our high standards!
This is not a veterinary-specific role, and therefore no previous experience of working in a veterinary practice is necessary; we will fully induct you on how to work safely in our clinical environment.
Please note: this role is not suitable for candidates who are seeking a career in veterinary nursing.
This is a part-time position, working 11am – 2pm Monday to Friday.
You will be responsible for resetting the practice after our busy mornings by:
- Cleaning our reception and waiting room area
- Cleaning and restocking our consultation rooms
- Cleaning our operating theatre
- Helping with laundry
- Cleaning kennels
- Cleaning the office and kitchen area
- Maintaining a tidy and organised working environment
- Contributing to the smooth running of the practice by taking a flexible, can-do, approach to assisting your colleagues
