Role Overview & Responsibilities

Working Hours: 40 hours Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00

Annual Leave: 33 Days (including 8 public bank holidays)

HR Advisor Duties

We’re looking for passionate people to help deliver our people strategy in our brand-new dedicated HR function. Reporting into the Head of HR you will be at the heart of putting People at the forefront of our agenda. As a key member of the HR team successful candidates will be advising, supporting and coaching our managers across the full employee lifecycle.

  • Building relationships with key stakeholders to ensure understanding of policies and procedures
  • Writing and implementing policies across employee lifecycle
  • Dealing and advising on a wide range of ER cases including absence, conduct, capability and grievances
  • Delivering training sessions on HR related topics
  • Drafting up invites, outcomes and supporting with note taking where required
  • Management of contracts and new starter paperwork including right to work documentation
  • Analysing people data around attrition, recruitment and sickness
  • Other duties as requested.

Skill & Knowledge Required:

  • Experience within a HR Generalist role
  • Ideally CIPD level qualified to level 5 or have a sound working knowledge of ACAS guidelines and employment legislation
  • Experience in coaching and advising at a management level
  • Solution driven – ability to work with managers, team and individually to create the best solution
  • Excellent communication and literacy skills.
