Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced electrician / electrical craftsperson to join our team.
You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a highly regulated environment. This will be a NAECI bluebook grade 5
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and code specifications
- Install electrical wiring, fixtures, and controls
- Conduct electrical testing and inspections, completing relevant paperwork
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify solutions
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent Apprenticeship
- Level 3 in Electrical Inspection, Testing, Certification and Reporting. (C&G 2391 or EAL equivalent)
- Level 3 in The Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2018 (2022)
- Previous experience in electrical installation and maintenance
- Knowledge of the latest electrical code and safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest industry standards and codes of practice
- Good working knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices – IOSH Managing Safely / IOSH Working Safely
- Have or be able to obtain SC Clearance
