Department Manager Fleet Maintenance

What will you be doing?

• Ensuring that the quality of workmanship produced meets the appropriate standards, and that all Health and Safety measures are in place and adhered to

• Responsible for the maintenance planning and execution of the fleets allocated to the workshops

• Accountable for the budget, compliance, strategy and standard of the JL CDH Regions vehicle fleet

• Accountable for the budget, compliance, strategy and standard of the WR Operating Groups vehicle fleet

• Responsible for the maintenance planning and execution of the JL CDH Region & WR Operating groups fleets

• Challenging costs on all aspects of vehicle maintenance with all suppliers

• Provide clear direction to the team to support the delivery of the Distribution Business Plan and Partnership Plan.

What you will have:

• Commercial vehicle engineering qualification (NVQ 3) or equivalent.

• A proven background in commercial vehicle maintenance experience

• Compliance with VOSA standards

• Intermediate Excel

What else you may bring:

• MIRTE

• HNC or above,

• LGV C + E driving licence

• Advanced Excel and database

• Dealer experience

• Certificate of Professional Competence in road transport operations
