Role Overview & Responsibilities
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual wishing to work in the friendly, forward thinking and patient centered orthotics department here at Warrington and Halton NHS trust.
We are looking for an orthotist with 2+ years experience, for a band 6 specialist orthotist role. We would however consider taking on a new graduate/less experienced orthotist as a band 5, offering structured progression on to a Band 6, once the necessary competencies have been achieved.
The successful candidate would be expected to manage their own case load consisting of a wide range of patient groups with a wide range of clinical presentations. The workload is therefore varied and interesting with good support from more senior staff when required.
The department engages with various MDT clinics and the applicant will therefore require good teamwork and communication skills to ensure collaboration with these teams bring about the best treatment possible treatment for our patients.
