Role Overview & Responsibilities
To be the first point of contact in the business, representing the Wasabi brand and providing an excellent experience to all visitors and employees. Ensure the reception and office areas are ‘business ready’ and always give a good impression of Wasabi. Monday – Friday: 1 pm – 6 pm.
- Being the first point of contact for all visitors, ensuring all sign in and out of the building
- Carry out regular (twice daily) walks and ensure the outside area, reception, office area and meeting rooms are clean, tidy and ‘business ready’
- Take incoming phone calls and filter as appropriate – respond to and follow up general inquiries.
- Receive and arrange delivery for mail and packages.
- Scheduling meetings, coordinating office activities and support company social events
- Process penalties/congestion charges for the logistics department.
- Order stationery for Support Office & CPU.
- Ensure the Support office/canteen is stocked with breakfast supplies.
- Maintain Vending Machine order supplies.
- Adhere to all statutory company policies and procedures.
- Process fob keys for Support Office & CPU.
- Manage keys for employee storage and lockers
- Supporting with employee onboarding
- Educated to at least ‘A’ level standard or equivalent
- High degree of organisational ability and attention to detail
- Previous Payroll experience essential – ideally with some exposure to hourly paid workforces
- Precise and accurate working style
- High level of IT skills with IT/HR systems and applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other MS packages
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including tact, discretion and experience of liaising with senior stakeholders both internally and with external suppliers
- An excellent telephone manner with the confidence to pick up the phone to anyone
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise work in consultation with the team
- The ability to work effectively within a team
- A high level of accuracy within a fast-paced environment with a positive can-do attitude.
- It is essential to speak Hindi with full proficiency, in addition to English.
