Role: Content Editor

Based at: Remote working / part-time

Role: Freelance. (24 hours per week - Monday to Thursday)

Pay: £13 - £15 per hour depending on experience

Additional pay: Bonus scheme based on performance

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Content Editor who will be responsible for increasing the monthly organic traffic on www.unifresher.co.uk.

Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an SEO role, with a proven track record of increasing organic traffic.

The Role Requires:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• A proven track record of growing a website's organic traffic with relevant high competed keywords
• Competent with Google Analytics, Search Consol & Moz (or a similar platform)
• Experienced with keyword research
• Exceptional analytical and strategic mindset
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to consistently produce highly accurate work, in a busy environment, with a minimum of supervision and a high level of attention to detail
• An individual who is hardworking, flexible, reliable, and trustworthy
• Ability to learn new tasks quickly and be able to adapt immediately to business requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality content following our SEO keyword strategy
• Optimise existing content to increase organic traffic on a monthly basis
• Support and manage the SEO Copywriter who is focused on backlink building, as well as giving direction to the web developer whenever necessary
• Develop and deliver organic search strategies to achieve the company’s objectives
• Identify SEO issues, make complex decisions and effectively communicate your reasoning to the wider team
• Identify and drive technical on-page and off-page SEO to improve monthly search traffic
• Produce monthly reports to present to the wider team
• Stay updated with the latest SEO changes
• Use Chat GPT to assist with content writing wherever possible
• Other content responsibilities whenever these arise
