Delivery Driver

We are delighted to announce that we have a fantastic opportunity for a Full timedelivery driver to join our team at our Fleet, Hampshire branch.

Location: Wellbeing pharmacy, 31 Victoria Road, Dartmouth, TQ6 9RT

As a valued member of our pharmacy team, you will help ensure that our customers and patients get the best possible service.

Our delivery drivers play a vital role within our pharmacy team, helping us serve the community and provide efficient and prompt deliveries of medicines to patients and care homes as well as organize the collection of prescriptions from surgeries and care Homes.

The candidate must have a keen attention to detail and efficiently deal with the patients and care home members of staff/surgery staff, to ensure we consistently deliver a high level of service.

Knowledge of medication handling would be an advantage.

Duties will include but will not be limited to:

A regular round to collect prescriptions/documentation from GP surgeries and care homes (when required).

Multi-drop deliveries making sure that recipient signs the delivery form.

Loading, unloading and sorting out deliveries received

Responsibly Communicating important information from the pharmacy to the patient/ patient's representatives/carers.

You will have to comply with company policies and procedures in respect to safe transport of goods and have due regard for the security and safety of any goods in transit at all times.

Note: Initially it is required to use your own vehicle for which you will get paid for the maintenance at £0.45/mile.

Work schedule: Mon-Fri (09:00-18:00) Including break

Weekly work hours: 40 hours per week

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £10.75-£11.00 per hour

Experience:

• Delivery driver experience: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Full UK Driving Licence (required)
