Dog Trainer
Role Overview & Responsibilities
Westra Kennels are looking for an experienced dog trainer to join their team in Dinas Powys, with a proven track record of clicker training young dogs from 3 months to 12 months old. We are flexible on hours and days for the right candidate. Must have strong communication skills, be able to document and video the key stages of each puppy's development for the client. Be able to teach a puppy within a 7-14 day period of residential training the basics such as marking correct behaviour, cues - sit, down, stand, wait/stay, leave it, no jumping up, walking to close position on left, goto mat, recall etc.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Part-time hours: 8-40 per week
Salary: £10.00-£15.00 per hour
