Duties and Responsibilities of a Health Care Assistant (Domiciliary Care):
- Providing personal care such as toileting, washing and dressing.
- Providing emotional and mental health support
- Keeping residents comfortable and assisting with manual handling.
- Observing and monitoring the well-being of patients, ensuring any changes are reported and documented accordingly
- Updating care plans
Requirements for the Health Care Assistant (Domiciliary Care):
- No specific qualifications are required, however a Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable
- Valid driving licence and access to a car
- Have previous care experience
