We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to work flexibly throughout the nursery. Working as part of a team working with children between the age of 6 months – 4years in our home from home setting based in Winnersh.
You must have a passion for nurturing children to help them reach their full potential offering meaningful childhood experiences.
To work along side the nursery team to provide the children with a stimulating environment to encourage and support child-initiated learning by offering appropriate levels of support in a stimulating environment
You will need to have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage as you will be involved in planning and developing a balanced programme of activities to support children in their learning.
To support partnership with families and maintain children’s records and online learning records.
To work alongside the nursery management team to provide and maintain a high quality of care for the children.
The ideal candidate should be friendly and reliable. A friendly, calm and patient nature. A good team player with a flexible approach and able to use their initiative. Good communication and organisational skills required.
Candidates would preferably have a relevant child care Level 2 or / Level 3 qualifications or equivalent.
The nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment.
A fully enhanced DBS check is required for this role
Qualification Essential - NVQ 2 or 3 in Childcare & Education or equivalent.
Qualifications Preferred - Candidates require a relevant childcare level 2/3 qualification or equivalent.
Key Person experience an advantage.
BANK STAFF & FIXED TERM CONTRACT ( 6 MONTHS) with the possibility of a permanent position thereafter.
The nursery is located within easy access to the M4 and is easily accessible using public transport both by bus and train services.
Car parking available on site.
