Animal Care Assistant
Role Overview & Responsibilities
We have an exciting position coming up here at Woodbine.
You will be required to work weekends, bank holidays, Christmas, school holidays etc. Some overnight stays will be required.
The starting hourly pay is national minimum wage for your age group plus tips. A Supervisor role could become available for the right person. Hours are approx. 30 hours per week. General shift patterns are 7am-2pm, 12pm-7pm or 7am-6pm. We can work up until 9pm in the summer. Overtime will be available for busy periods and to cover holidays etc
Criteria:
- Experience working with dogs/cats
- Own transport (car or bike etc)
- Being happy outside in all weathers
- Enjoy working in a team and is a team player
- Passion for animals! You must be confident wit handling large groups of dogs
- Have great commutation skills
- Have at least level 2 Animal qualification.
