Telecoms Engineer

Yellowcom are a leading UK/ROI mobile and landline provider who has been delivering services to businesses from their offices in Glasgow, Dublin and Belfast for over 16 years. We are fully accredited partners with Fixed Line Operators, Mobile Networks and Telecom Manufacturers.

We are looking for an engineer to travel to customer sites to complete telephony installs. This will range from structured cabling to full telephone system installs, either PBX or hosted. The successful candidate will also be providing onsite support in response to problems identified by our Support Desk. You will diagnose and fix faults both onsite and remotely whist ensuring the customer is fully aware of the work undertaken and is satisfied with the result. Yellowcom are providing customers with the latest telecoms technologies so you can be ensured your skills will stay up to date.

The successful candidate will be/have

. Experience in working with structured cabling

. Experience working with either on premise and/or cloud phone systems

. Experience working with routers and LANs

. Technically adept and great problem solving skills

· Great attitude to learning new skills

· Be able to communicate to different types of personalities

· Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

· High level of attention to detail and pride in your work

· A flexible approach, with the ability to work well on your own as well as part of a team

· Show a commitment to ongoing professional development and be prepared to undertake training

· A full UK Driving License is essential
