Role Overview & Responsibilities

Tasks

As a Product Designer, you will create the designs for our web-application which tackles climate change every day and help make the world a better place for all of us. You will work collaboratively with a growing and highly experienced team, delivering new features, conceptualising the UX and polishing off the UI. You will have a high degree of autonomy to shape the trajectory of our product while working together with our CEO and the software engineering team. We are looking for an experienced Product Designer who has an incredible eye for design and superb attention to detail to take our application to the next level.

Requirements

  • Highly proficient with modern design tools such as Figma.
  • Have worked with engineers and managers, ensuring they are brought into the design thinking process and not just expected to ship designs.
  • You’re passionate about beautiful software, experiences and people.
  • Experience with user research such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
  • Understanding of design systems and patterns, while also staying aware of technological feasibility.
  • A portfolio demonstrating breadth, creativity, process, and innovation across multiple technologies.
  • Self-directed, able to contribute and see ahead of the current development timeline.
  • English working proficiency and communications skills (verbal and written).
As a plus:
  • Have designed products and features that have been used by thousands of users.
  • Ability to create interactive prototypes using HTML and/or prototyping software.
  • Startup experience as an early employee or founder.
